The Carré is known as the legendary "presidents shape", as many presidents were enjoying carré watches on their wrists. Franklin Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, Donald Trump, and Charles de Gaulle are just some examples. The fact that the square greatly simplifies the possible directions from a geometrical point of view and thus leads to focus, is one of the underlying theories.
