About the Brand
Prisma was a watch brand of the watch factory Carl Fr. Bosch and the company Jansen Post & Cocx in the Netherlands. The company Jansen Post & Cocx was already active around 1900 as a wholesaler of gold and silverware. Watches were also sold. In 1948, the company founded the Prisma brand. Movements from Switzerland, Germany and later from Japan were used. Prisma was in the Netherlands as a watch brand a counterweight for the brands Pontiac, Lincoln or the Dutch Zentra which often acted as a private label or trademark of the jeweler.
