About the Brand
The Fludo brand was registered by Fluvius Boillat in Les Breuleux on June 10, 1934. Fluvius' father, Charles "Paul" Ulric Boillat, already had a watch factory in Le Breuleux. The registration of the brand was done by Fluvius and his father. Besides Fluvius and his father, there were several persons with the name Boillat working in the watch industry. However, the brand Fludo develops quickly. Although the Second World War saw a decline in sales. In the fifties Fludo watches are exported to all Europe, North America and Asia. Besides the Fludo brand, there was also the Efro brand, which was registered on July 7, 1958. For health reasons and the abandonment of the brand by his descendants, the Fludo brand died in 1987. The Fludo brand name was owned by Philippe Cuenat in Rocourt in 1996 according to the "Feuille officielle suisse du commerce". Manuel Rodrigues, lover of Swiss watchmaking, discovers the brand and decides to revive Fludo on April 8, 2011. After the completion of the rebranding process, a brand new website and a worldwide Fludo online store was launched in 2018.
